 Description
This card is a half length 4 port multiport card. It may be used in any ISA bus
computer(PC-AT or PC-XT). It has two modes of operation, compatibility mode and enhanced
mode. In compatibility mode, COM1 and COM2 have the default configuration of the normal PC
compatibles (e.g., ADR 3F8, IRQ4 and ADR 2f8, IRQ 3) while the other ports addresses are
selectable and IRQ selectable. In enhanced mode all ports can be attached to one IRQ or
use one IRQ per port. The port addresses can be selected as one of two blocks. There may
be up to two four port cards in one machine.
